Reluctantly selling the X..

Its come to this gentlemen..We NEED a 7 seater. We contemplated having the X AND a Odyssey (which we love), but it just aint going to cut it for economical reasons..

We thought about holding out until the 7 seat X's come out but cant wait...So, I very reluctantly put the X on the market today. Now heres the bad part. Im not in a rush to sell it, (theres a part of me that wishes it never sells) but the resale is SOOO good on these things, that I put it on the market 2 hours ago for 5000 bucks more than I purchased it, and I already have 3 meetings set up for tonight and one test drive already completed a few minutes ago, to which the guy says "You better let me know as soon as the first guy backs out!!"..

So it wont be long before shes gone..However, I have already shelled out the 200 dollar "holding fee" for the black E90 to be here next month. So I can have an E90, and she can have the Odyssey..

Hey wait a minute, isnt Bimmer supposed to come out with a Minivan soon?!?! HMMMMMMMM!!...............

So, am I still allowed on the board, or has my account been "suspended"?! LOL!!

Hey, a new E90 and a minivan doesn't sound like a bad trade-off. The new E90's are nice...get it equipped the way you want and you still have the versatility of hauling the wife and kids around in the van. The Oddysey is probably the best van on the market right now.

Ideally it's nice to have a vehicle for every purpose. I have a 540i, and X5, a Chrysler caravan, and my wife has a new Honda. Only problem now is parking! I have a two car garage and booting out the wife's Honda wasn't easy...now she wants back in for the winter. The thought of one of my babies out in the snow makes me wanna buy a new house with a three car garage!

Be the first forum member to mod rear-facing seats in the X cargo area, dude, don't roll out on us! Remember the old Subaru Baja? Like that, only inside!

Well, we haven't kicked CJ out yet (), so, don't worry about it. Hang around. You'll be a proud X5 owner soon enough again, I have the feeling.
