center armrest rattle

After being quite fed up with this annoying rattle, I decidedd to take apart the center armrest to find the cause.... Aparently, when you apply pressure to the back of the armrest( Circled in red), it makes a plastic-on-plastic rubbing/ rattle sound.... Is there anyway I can take the top cover out and replace it? Or is there a better fix for this?

**Pic is not mine, I took it from another post. Thanks!

Or friction tape, which is used specifically for this.

i've treid felt and friction tape... no results.... it sounds like it's coming from inside those little "humps" and I can't seem to pop off that cover to put more friction tape down.... I've used atleast 4 feet of felt in the past month to stop rattles....
and this is the final one! (i hope)

my armrest rattled but it was actually from the front, just to either side of the iPod in your pic. i put two tiny self-adhesive rubber bumpers there and that cured it.
