Question Sirius Installation

I have a 2004 X4 4.8IS w/ NAV & 6CD Changer.
If I purchase the parts can anyone tell me based on experience how difficult it is to install? Are there .pdf's out there that walk through the procedure? Are there any special tools that I will require? Just trying to save $200 by having the dealer comlete the installation.

- Thanks!

I just ordered the parts and they come next week. Although I did get the Tirk Sir-3 antenna and installed it in the roof spoiler. Just follow IFlyX5's instructions on the home page. The hardest part was feeding the antenna lead through the rubber grommit located at the top of the rear hatch. Otherwise, it wasn't too bad.

It's very easy - i did it a few months ago.. if u have the sirius box you're 90% done.. all you need is an antenna..

I ordered my Sirius for my '04 from BSW. Think it took me a whole 30 minutes to install. Don't forget that whether you buy the factory BMW stuff or the BSW (which uses the BMW module), you get a whole year of Sirius subscription free. Took me calling Sirius and getting a supervisor on the phone to find someone who knew that, but you are entitled to a full year free.
