NEED HELP: HOW TO WIRE ANGEL EYES
i have a 2001 x5 4.4i, and i just switched the whole headlight unit, and the headlight unit comes with angel eyes, however, the two wires (i assume is for the lighting of angel eyes) sticking out, im not sure where to wire these 2 wires to, does anyone has any ideas? thanks |

Kind of experiencing the same issue. I believe you need a ballast first of all. take pics of the wires... If the ballasts are in the headlight unit, then you probably need to tap into ground and power.
EDIT: or you can get a wiring harness that allows you to connecct it up to the ECU and the foot lamps for auto dimming and coming on when u hit the remote (like your interior lights).. kinda cool.. I'm looking for one of these now.. anyone know where i can get just the harness?? |

do you have to get go through the bumper for that or take off bumper? or pretty easy to see fog wires once lights are out? got one side done, going to post picturs.. almost done my halogen to xenon upgrade.. lookin pretty good i think..
