Navigation screen yellowish?
My nav screen looks yellowish and I'm starting to wonder whether it's normal. Also, I think I noticed the screen become dimmer one evening and was wondering whether it was due to the ambient lighting becoming dimmer as the sun was setting or is it a screen defect?

Could be the screen unit going bad. If there is a fellow X5 owner with nav in your area, try doing a side-by-side comparison.

Yeah definitely check if it's different on other X5s. I had an issue when it was really cold here in Illinois (-F) and the NAV screen looked to be dimmer and more blue/purple. After about 30 mins of driving, it went back to normal.

Yeah it happened today again. The screen turned from yellowish to normal (much better colors).

Anyone else having this yellowing problem. It's been cold lately here in the Bay Area, but in the 45-55 degree range. The screen goes to a yellow tone for a couple of days and then back to normal it's frustrating and hard to see. Any recommendations?

Strange there are problems in 45 F weather. Never have I experienced this or other people I know with X5s, but I hope this is only a temporary issue.
