bentley dissapointed me

I just received Betley service manual for X5.
I am disappointed.
This book is copy of BMW dealer service manual and I think is not for DIY.
I hoped to find in book some experiances and advices by experts, but nothing, only how to remove and install parts.
To diagnose - book askes dealer software, but we have not.
So I think it is not for us as DIY guys.
I think it is not worth.

so the step by step guides are not considered DIY? Because of this book, i was able to replace my spark plugs, water pump, thermostat, brakes, bumpers or other stuffs. Yes there are other equipments require to code some stuffs and requires dealer software, even if bentley has that, questions is, would be buy those machines and equipment that costs half or even as much as a new car?

IMO, that is why we have this site so experiences of other members are being posted here, otherwise, i wouldn't be needing this site at all.

Actually the reason for this site is two fold.

are you the same guy who sent us the neon light for the wheels? Gesssh, Everyone knows about the teo folds of this site and i wasnt referring to that. When i said that i wouldnt be needing this site at all, i was referring to experiences of other members if bentley has it. I made friends because of this site and totally agree with you, its just that your judgment when you read posts seem different, especially on the 2 posts i made which you commented from. You mgiht want to consider reading posts more than once, you're both off. geeessshhh
