hello fellow countryman...you're a filipino and you got verizon as a carrier. i never thought i'd see the day. every filipino i know at least here out west use either AT&T or TMobile because they use GSM technology. actually most filipino i know in other states like florida, chicago, texas, ny and even canada uses gsm as well.
i do have that dilemma because bmw is paired with verizon only. i have an '04 and have asked around in this forum and told me that i need to update the bluetooth unit in my x5 inorder for me to use another carrier. :xoutpost:

i work for a phone co. so i get whoever gives us discount.. this time its verizon. i'm still discovering pros & cons to using it.
i don't know of other year make if it can only be used for certain carriers. i had my bluetooth disabled on my '03 530i when i stopped subscribing to sirius and car came with nokia cradle but never used it. |
