Bumper Gap (Pics)

Hi so today i got hit in the rear and the bumper now has a gap between the sides and the tailgate anyone have a clue what could be bent or messed up to make it do this?




here is the gap betwen the tailgate

The bumper is plastic attached to an inner steel insert. I'm guessing the insert is bent. Good luck

Maybe the bumper slid out of the tracks. I was told when you install the bumper, you have to make sure the tabs line up or else you'll get a gap. Try taking it out with a torx 5 driver. I think there are two by the exhaust and then remove the 2 bolts (9mm?) from the rear wheel wells. Then check what's under there.
