Curious.
Oops! The E46 was bought in November '04. The X was bought in May right before I sold the E46. (June '05.)

And yes, I bought it brand new. Prod date was Oct 03. I wait around until the next year to buy the car, sometimes later. Bought the E46 brand new, PP, 17"s for 27,200. The X was the last one on the lot. Prod date Nov '03. Bought it brand new w/PP in May right before I sold the E46 for 37,350. Got 3 offers for 41,500 even, and both guys are on standby if my patience wears out for the 42,300 I have on the window. It all depends on the market too.

Right now, on my dealer's lot, there are 6 '05 model E46's ranging from 24,500 bucks! Im almost thinking about it..

If I was technologically literate, I would paste the Excel worksheet I have of the cars on here, but I dont know how...

Yep. I work for the US Govt here. I buy the cars under a diplomatic program where discounts are available on some car makes; BMW, Land Rover, Volvo and GM. I still buy in dollars however. Many people just dont like the hassle of "dealing with dealers". They would rather pay more, just to not have to deal with the pressure of a salesman. Thats where I come in...

What we can say is that we are driving around in the best SUV (or SAV) on the road, bar none

We're not driving an "old model," and it won't become an "old model" for another 14 or 15 months!

LOL... Classic!

Does not apply to me, unfortunately, but classic response nonetheless!

Don't say 'old' model - That's likie saying 'cheap' when we all mean to say 'less expensive' - not 'old', but 'classic'

What makes you think I will still have the same car in a year?
