(+/-) cd/radio station control on steering wheel not working??

I just got my Nav screen replaced under warranty (pixilation dot) and while everything looks great, I noticed that the control buttons on the right side of my steering wheel marked +/- (2005 4.8is X5) now do not change CD tracks, nor change pre-set radio stations. The buttons on the CD/radio faceplate itself works, but the steering wheel option does not.

No complaint about the dealer, I just noticed and put out a call. I wanted to cehck here as well since so many of you out there have deep knowledge on such matters.

I saw nothing in the manual, nor drilling into the software on the equipment that allows this feature to be turned on or off.

Try pushing the button with the talking head on the left side of the steering wheel. I think you’re stuck in the Bluetooth control mode which allows those buttons to scroll through the phone book. Seems simple, but sometimes the simple solution actually works. Other than that, maybe it’s a defective wheel?
