Many thanks to all here...'02 X5 3.0

Hello to all.

Just wanted to say thanks to all that post here. I found this sight just prior to making a purchase decision on an '02 X5 3.0 for my wife. Only 43k miles, and in excellent condition. Learned a great deal here prior to purchase, and amazingly enough, it developed battery problems 2 days after bringing it home, and the information I found here was a huge help. (The non-BMW selling dealer is even reimbursing me for the battery.) It turned 4 years old only a few weeks before our purchase...

On a side note, my local dealer, Moritz BMW in Arlington, Tx. has been very customer friendly so far. They installed my wife's new wiper blades and missing shade clip free of charge for her when she stopped in on her way to work (to purchase the parts).

Thanks again, and I am sure I will be lurking around here often.

~Mike

Haven't been here in quite a while, as much has changed.
The X5 was traded off in June of '07, in yet another attempt to please the wife... She left in August...

The post divorce world has changed a lot. Got another vette. The one that I wanted this time. 2004 Commemorative Edition in Lemans Blue.

No BMW for now, but still like the X5's should things change in my future.

Till then, let the party begin...

~M.

ps. How do I delete the old photo in the member's gallery???

AquaVette:
Sorry to read of the divorce...good luck in the future.
I admit I had to go look at your gallery pic as I thought
you might have a pic of your ex that you wanted to delete ...

I see your old X5; just go to your page in gallery, go to that
pic, click on it, look to the right where you will see a Tab that
says Image Tools. Hit and see options; click on Edit Image
and up pops that pic again and you will see a line that says
Delete this image. Click that box and hit delete and it's gone...

Let's see some pics of your old Vette, your new Vette and...
your new squeeze! ...
Good Luck,mD

I long since deleted any picture that she was part of...
I got the image deleted. Thanks for the help.
New vette pictures will be posted very soon, just need to take a few good ones. The old one is still in an old post of mine... I will search for it.
Looks like there are several "new squeezes" currently, so I would imagine my recovery is coming along nicely.
