Rear stays dirty

Any sign of rain and the back of the X is filthy. Anyone found any decent looking aero bits that keep it clean?

I have the exact same problem. It gets me so bad. I wash it and it looks really good. Once i drive through rain or even in winter it geets super dirty on the back. The rest of the truck isn't even as drty as the back.

Yes keeping the back clean is a pain....It just gets so much kick back from the street all the wet dirt or dust just goes right on the back and stays there.

Are there ways to stop it from getting so dirty?

Mines black and its filthy. The only thing I have noticed is using REJEX wax.
REJEX is not a wax though. IT was a protectant made for airplanes and its found its way over to the Porsche community as a wax type product. The vehicle has to be real clean to use it. Its NOT a cleaner wax. Its just a shine protectant type protectant. The use on aircraft was to keep dirt and bug splats down and easier to clean. You might try it and see if it works. I use it on all 3 cars- the 2 BMWs and the GT3. I dont like it to get a great shine but it does make everything easy to keep clean. Its only about $15. Google it. The only think I can think of.

No, it is a product of the vehicle shape, and the resulting low-pressure zone that draws in spray. There are no aerodynamic modifications that will make a difference; it happens with all station wagons and hatchbacks although some of them have a rear wind deflector to keep the rear window clean. That doesn't work on the X5 due to the standard bodywork at the top of the rear window.
