2004 X5 Tel LED Light

I accidently hit this TEL button (above th BC button and below the audio button) and now no matter what i do the red LED light wont go away. Car has a BMW assist which is expired. I am no interested in getting the BMW assist and just want to red LED light to turned off. Any help would be great !

If the ol' memory is correct, the light is on because there's no phone hooked up. My light stayed on in my 4.6is.....Phil

Doesn't matter. I'm not sure if it will go out once you have the retro done. I'm sure one if the bluetooth experts will chime in......Phil

It'll go away. However, if you pair up a BT cellphone and then turn it off for whatever reason, the redlight will return to let you know the connection was lost.
