K&N Aerosol Recharger Filter Care Service Kit for AFE Filter?

Hello,

I have K&F Aerosol Recharger Filter Care Service Kit which I got when I had E46,
and now I have AFE intake with AFE filter.
AFE Air Filter Restore Kit looks same as K&F Filter Care Service Kit,
they both have 1 spray filter cleaner and 1 air filter oil (Aerosol).

Can I use K&F kit for AFE filter?
what do you think?

Thanks!

I am not that familiar with the AFE filter, but if it uses oil just like the K&N, then I don't think there would be a problem. The K&N recharge kit is probably just filter cleaner with the K&N logo. Probably no different than the version Napa or someone else would make.
I would give it a shot, you can always re-clean it and get the AFE kit.
