Ok so I know that nothing is as good as OEM, but there is a great deal on a Uhaul hitch for my X5 with a bunch of accessories and a wiring kit here on craigslist locally. Here's a link to all included:

It looks like a great price for all the stuff to do it. I am NOT planning on towing anything with the X, rather I have a moto carrier that is basically a ramp that slides into a receiver hitch that holds a dirtbike parallel with the rear bumper to carry the bike to the track without a trailer. Would this work for my application do you think? Anyone with experience with a Uhual hitch? TIA
