Umm.. ok. Where do you buy H&R spacers?

I've been buying my H&R parts from TCK Racing, but they only have stuff for the Coupe, 3 series, etc.. Not the X5.

I like working with Bav Auto, but they don't have them.

I think I dealt with HMS Motorsports once, but they don't have them.

Turner has them, in theory.. but they don't list part numbers, and frankly, I had a bad experience with TMS and think they are shady. Also, they want $180, when TCK Racing was asking $150 for DRA's. Something fishy about TMS.

Is there a company that carries H&R DRA 25mm and 30mm spacers that has a good rep amongst you guys?

Got mine from Turner Motorsports. Don't forget longer bolts too.

T/A, According to H&R's website, the DRA only comes in 40mm-60mm. Less than 40mm, you have to use the DR, which requires the longer bolts. For the X5 application, you'll have to use the DRM in the 25mm-30mm spacer (the DR or DRA are not available in those two sizes). I inquired them about this about a couple of years ago and H&R confirmed that info (unless they had made design changes/improvements in the last couple of years). I didn't want to use the DR or DRM because the longer bolt would mean that I can't use wheel locks. The DRA seems perfect, because you get to use the OEM bolts and accessories. Please keep us informed as I'm still looking for some 25mm for the rear. Livermore Performance (http://www.livermoreperformance.com/...pacers.html#HR) seems legit and their price is very reasonable. They were very nice and helpful in answering alot of my questions the last time I was browsing.

Great to know. How's your stock of 25mm spacers?

Thanks for the parts source lead.

I happened to call H&R last week to get a part # for longer bolts for the front DR application, when I asked them about the rears. It turns out their web site is currently incorrect. The bottom two lines that say this..

DRM 25mm 50757255 $ 149.95 Pair
DRM 30mm 60757255 $ 179.95 Pair

Should say "DRA". Plus the part numbers are for the DRM. The person that helped me went off to double check, came back, and confirmed that they do make the DRA for the X5 hub flange. 25mm and 30mm. Here's the info on the 25. I neglected to get the part number for the 30 because at the time I was convinced that 25 was what I was going to get. If interested in the 30mm I would definitely call H&R and not rely on any vendor's info (because they may be going off the web site too). My intention is to just find a vendor and say, "Here.. please order this part number for me".

DRA spacers 25mm #50757251
Interesting, I got entirely different info from H&R yeaterday and today. They told me that the 50757251 was in fact a DRM that was designed to bolt to the hub but had studs for those that wanted to convert their X5 to bolts with nuts. She consulted with her engineers who called Germany and the answer back was that the 25mm DRA is actually 50757252. Took two days of research but that was their definitive answer. So now I don't know which ones to order. Guess I'll spin the dice and see what I get.

Nick- any insight into the part number roulette? I'd be willing to take a chance on getting the correct ones and order the 50757252 if you could let me know how much shipped to 60187 zip code. Thanks

I contacted Nick earlier this week and ordered what should be the "bolt spacer to hub flange" style spacer, with "reuse factory bolts to bolt wheel to spacer" solution. UPS tried to deliver today, but the package was set to, "must have signature". I work... doh! .. so now I have to drive to the UPS depot tomorrow to pick up the package. Nick.. ask yer shipping dudes to not mark the signature required box. We all at work during the day. :-)

I'll post when I get the package and can check that everything matches up to the E53 hub flange.

Good price and a pleasure working with Nick over the phone, by the way...
