Its fixed. It was the 100 deg heat on a black car making it feel warm. Back in normal 75 deg weather and its very cold. Thanks.

Same problem with my '03. Dealer said aux. fan, $1450 installed. Yeah, right. NIce fan and installation (remove entire front of car) BMW, way to go.

The aux fan on my 01 has been replaced about 4 times now; all under TSB/warranty. I think there were 3 TSBs in under 6 mos, but it was years ago. Not positive, but I think a bad batch of fans got installed.

Step 1; remove bumper.

Anyone know what the vent outlet temperature should be, relative to the ambient air outside? Might just be me, but I dont think mine is blowing air as cold as it used to.

I have the same feeling, I remember it used to get cooler faster and that I remember it used to be cooler. Passenger side blows warmer than driver side too... I hope it fixes itself... lol

I think maybe you might have the very common FSR (Final Stage Resistor) problem.... search for it a a zillion threads will come up, It's pretty easy to do you self. I changed that 1st .... but it wasn't what was wrong with mine.

Where is the relay for the Aux Fan located? I am having the same problem with my compressor not engaging and aux not working.
