Unhappy voice command button help!!!!!

The voice command button on the stering wheel was working. Now if you press the button nothing happen? Is it a way to reset it?

Not that I know of. Do the rest of the buttons still work? Maybe the button broke or the wiring to the button cluster is bad?

Yes, the other buttons work just fine. I don't know why it stopped working. on the onboard monitor telephone isn't displayed anymore either?

Can you give us some more information. It's sort of hard to know what's going on. What car do you have (year, model, production date, etc.) Do you have nav? Do you have a TCU or ULF setup, etc. How were you using the setup before the failure? Did you recently change phones or install something new in the car?

I think this is your primary problem, the signal from all the buttons on that side of the steering wheel all go down the same wire. If there was a disconnect all the buttons on that side of the wheel would stop working.

I have a 2006 X5 30i production date 9/05 Yes,I have Nav. I don't Know about the set up? How do I get that info? I had my wife phone set up with the bluetooth and my yougest son pushed the sevice button near the rear view mirror and that when it stop working. But before that had happen it was working fine. All the other buttons on that side of the steering wheel works just fine.
