Compensation For Faulty (UK) X5?

Folks,

My X5 3.0d Sport Auto, mileage 15,903 and just two years old...has had quite a few issues (see below) and has been off the road for 62-days since new, for around 40 issues/faults, treated via 14 visits to the dealer (sometimes via flat-bed carrier!).

My car, with all the extras (it is fully-fully loaded) was £46,000 ($92,000 USD) at the time.

Can anyone share (via Private Message if desired) what claims/compensation people have had and what you think I should be looking for (real/serious suggestions preferred!)?

Cheers

X5-UK

I dont think you will get anything unless there is a law in GB that gives you some rights, Over here we have something that will let you leave the car back or exchange for another one if same part keeps braking or some other issues that are just as bad.
As i said, if you dont have a contract or GB law that wil support you in your claim, then i dont think that there is mutch you can do but talk to the dealer, and have them contact BMW GB and se if they can get sometning on goodwill

That is what i think, i know the owner of local BMW delership, and if i got something that was not under warranty it was from the dealership it self.

And since they repaired same things severel times i would consider changing the shop the foult might be with them
