Exclamation eml, dsc, brake, abs indicator lamps on ????

the brake warning lamp comes on red together with the
yellow indicator lamps for ABS and DSC. the front brake pads have about 20% life left. Can worn brake pads cause this problem?

it happened with me as well.... diagnostic will give you an answer - it could be from some ABS-sensor damaged and up to my case DSC-block dead

Those are also the symptoms of a pre 2004 E53 engine wiring harness failure. Check the codes and see if you are getting anything engine related.
