upgrade angle eye bulbs?

I have an X5 with OEM xenon angel eyes and I want to upgrade the bulbs so the angel eyes do not have such a yellowish glow. Can I just replace my high beam bulbs with a set of whiter H1 bulbs? I was looking at the sylvania silverstar h1s but just wanted to check here before I swapped them out! Thanks!

can't replace the highbeam bulb to change the angel eye color... If you want

to change the angel eye color go here: http://www.europeanautosource.com/pr...oducts_id=1641

If you want a highbeam bulb to match the xenons, go to www.HOEN-USA.com

Why is it that the bulb won't change the angel eye's color? Theoretically if I got a whiter bulb than the oem one wouldn't that change the color of the angel eyes? Or am I not understanding how it works properly?

yes, that's possible to make it white. OEM is either 3000K or 4500K color. What you need is at least 6000K. Here is the folks that sells them. http://customangeleyes.com. And as far as i know, they have DIY. Hope that helps.

You can go with our Predator ICE OEM Upgrade Module which is an LED based replacement that swaps out the stock halogen bulb for a pure white light output.

I would stay away from the ebay stuff... go with jlevi or eas, they are both GREAT companies! Never had any problems with either and they have always quickly replied to all my emails answering each question! The hard part is picking which one of the two to use! hehe
