question
hey all! newbie with another newbie question. those extra bumper pieces that are in front and back that are the same color of the x. I seem to only see them on the 4.4is, 4.6is. are they sold separately? can they be put on a 3.0i? thanks have a nice day

Its actually only on the 4.6 and 4.8....its called the 4.6 kit. its a rear lip and front lip that go on both bumpers. However you'll need the 4.6 exhaust tips to make the look complete... and yes they can be added on to the 3.0 no problem...Fairly inexpensive parts also....Welcome to the site too...

cool thank you for that info, and for the welcome. this is a great forum from what ive seen. ill post up some pics as soon as i buy my x5.

another question
any specific site i can purches them or should i just go on ebay?

Do a bit of searching and you will find out that many guys have posted about the 4.6 / 4.8 kit.
