Dinan Parts for 2004+

Hey gang, wanted to run this by you guys. Has anyone here installed any of Dinan products on their 2004 X5 or newer? So far the only things that are available are the exhaust and the throttle body (maybe the software too, but I don't see it on their site, is it?). I was thinking of definitely going with the throttle body and possibly with the exhaust, but 7 extra ponys for 4 grand installed seems a little

Wanted to see what your feel and recommendations are.

don't do it. Waste of money, mainly the TB. I am not sure where you are getting the $4K though.

If they come out with software, maybe, depends on price.

Personally, I think the Dinan stuff is great. I've done the camber plates and strut brace so far, and I have an appt. this Friday to get the exhaust and throttle body. (By the way, the TB is good for 8 HP, and the exhaust is good for 7HP - 15HP total. And the total cost incl. install will be about $2500, not $4000)
When the engine and trans. s/w is released, I'll definitely be doing that too.
Dinan is expensive, but it's the best, and it's the only one that won't void your warranty.

Are the camber plates DIY or is an alignment machine needed?

I agree with DinanX5s statement. I currently have the exhaust and love it. As soon as thay some out with a cold air intake and mass flow sensor and software i will do all that plus the throttle body at the same time. I am getting really impatient though and cant waut for it all to come out.

They're not DIY, unless you're a really good at home mechanic! An alignment is DEFINITELY recommended afterward.
X5Jay, did you ever see my response to your Dinan camber plate question on the other thread? (http://www.xoutpost.com/showthread.ph...1&page=2&pp=10)
