Nokia 6310i Cradle not charging phone...

Guys,

I put my Nokia 6310i in the phone cradle and it doesn't seem to be charging anymore does anybody know if this is a problem with the cradle or an electrical fault with the wiring??? it was working fine up too last weekend as I wasn't in the driving the jeep all week.....

Any suggestions before I purchase a new cradle.....?
