AFE CAI HELP!?

I installed the AFE about two months ago now. I have been under normal driving conditions here in CT and pretty descent weather as of lately. My CAI which was once Blue upon install is now White!! I figured it would stay blue....any reason whi it is white???

This may be a simple answer...so forgive me if I missed something??

Besides that all is well - Supersprint is on the way from Italy....Next Mod that and the XPIPE!

Thanks in Advance!!

RR

Cool Good to know! But only after two months??

8. How often do I need to clean my filter?

We suggest that your aFe filter be cleaned every 30,000-50,000 miles. If, however, you're driving in dusty and dirty conditions, you should clean it more often.

How can I tell when the filter need to be cleaned?

A good rule of thumb is to clean the filter when you can barely see the aluminum mesh. Most people clean the filter too often. It's not necessary to clean the filter too often. In fact, cleaning the filter too often will shorten the filter life and prevent the filter from reaching it's maximum filtration efficiency. Even thought the filter looks dirty, if you can see the aluminum wire mesh, it's still clean enough and plenty of air is still going through..

Hmmmm! So even though the

Thanks! blue oil is gone I am still good?????

AFE makes a Pro-Dry S filter. It says oil free and easy to service.
