BRAKE ABS DSC light on! pls help!

BRAKE ABS DSC light on! pls help!
Hi, hopefully you guys can help me out, I have a 2000 X5, 4.4i.
it's got 135K miles on it, and Loving it! and keeping it for a while.
I recently changed brake pads (the brake pad sensors look OK), and also
replaced the CV boots and lower control arms .....after the last, the lights came on! and can not make them go off at all...could the xenon lights level sensor be responsible? that the only one that you gotta take off when you replace lower control arms..........I have read all there is in x5world about them, and nothing works.....everything seems to work fine, no problems at all....it's just those annoying lights.....please help! and THANKS!
