Angry Problems with upgraded rear metal wiper.

I recently upgraded my 01 with the new and improved rear wiper blade.
I also attached a 418b icon wiper.

Tested it out today, and the contact patch was horrible, the whole middle part of the wiper made no contact, only the outside edges of the icon wiper hit the glass.

Maybe i got a bad blade? Everything looks correctly installed and nice and tight against the glass.
I have no idea

There is a small "U" shaped tab about half way along the wiper arm. Either make sure the new blade is in the centre of, and not touching, the "U" shaped tag or get rid of the tag completely. This should fix the problem.

I ran into the same thing...until you remove that plastic connected to the arm, you will have that gap in the middle everytime your wiper is on...

Its an easy fix...don't worry!
