Visor for stock navigation screen

Hey everyone:

I have been looking around but without any luck so far. Is there an aftermarket "visor" that will reduce the sun's glare on the navigation screen?

If not, what are people using?

A friend has nav and I am trying to help out.
Thanks!

Thanks for the response X5, I can't believe something hasn't been created for this. I had a 3coupe w/Nav for awhile and the angle on it was great...no problems. But the X5 really angles it's Nav screen and during the day you almost can't see it.

I have only had a problem seeing the screen once since i had my X.
That being the case it's easy to see why there isn't a market for a "Visor".

Try viewing it with polarized sunglasses sometime. It's impossible.

~ Livin' in an area that's brite sunny days the majority of the year, the "glare factor" gets really difficult sometimes.... 'would be great if there were a mod that allowed "adjustable tilt/angle" on th' screen...

I use a Bed Bath and Beyond 20% off coupon... just fold it to follow the corner of the screen and it fits perfectly that groove. Similarly, a thick piece of card stock should do the trick as well.

I took the thin piece of cardboard from a case of Miller Lite, the one that seperates the bottom from the top, painted it black, and cut to size. I take it off and put it in the visor when not in use. Looks ok, but wish they made something nicer..
