I called my dealer in NJ and wanted to install an ipod adapter with my nav system but they tell me that I cant install it because I have a cd player in the truck already and the connections needed for the ipod adapter are being used by the cd changer. Is there any other way I can install this or am I going to have to go and get a cheap aftermarket adapter? Thanks |

Get the $40 factory auxiliary input and install yourself (mine is in the ashtray) I have it and it works great...sounds just like CD's. It doesn't charge your ipod but I just plug the charge into the outlet in the ashtray and works fine. There is LOTS of info on this using search.

Although if you have an iPod, I have NO IDEA why you want to still use the CD changer
