grrr more bad luck!

<rant>
ordered the BMW OBD tool that everyone suggests. The person I bought from only sent me the actual tool and not the cable! Going to try a standard canadian tire tool tomorrow and see if it detects my airbag sensor problem.

For the past 2 weeks, my X5's been in the body shop as I was getting it painted/scratches fixed. Was only suppose to be in a week and now that I got it home I am having problems with my driver side door! They said they never touched it though. Good thing is, I never paid for their work yet.

Peake? Are you sure you ordered the right model? Not all include the OBD2 cable. Most likely you will need to use a Peake tool to reset the SRS Airbag light.
