autodim mirrors

Guys, just noticed yesterday that my left mirror not dim automatically
Is it normal ? Rear view and passenger's mirrors dims fine...
what I need to check ?

no it's not normal. hopefully you don't need to replace the glass. it is expensive.

I have the automatic dimming feature but I ve never actually seen it work. How can I check if mine works?

With you hand, cover the sensor that's located on the back of the mirror on the right side. Then you can shine a light or have your dome light on near the sensor on the top center of your mirror. Then all three of your mirrors will dim.

very simply - just put the flah-light into the sensor at rear view mirror - you will see the effect. I did it yesterday and my passenger and rear view mirrors became greenish dark, but driver's - just brownish a bit... what I should check ? contacts ?
