Windshield Wipers?

Hi i need to buy some new windshield wipers and i wanted to know the best kind. I looked at the rain x latitude wipers and the bosch icon wipers. Anyone have an opinion on the best kind to get? I have an 03 x5. What size do you get for the back wiper?

Thanks

Sean

Here's a link to a very good thread on blades; just one of the
dozen to be found using that handy Search Tab, upper right
side of this site's header.

I recently replaced my OE wipers with the Bosch Icon and they've been great. Don't freeze up in the snowy slop, and don't lift off the windshield at Highway+ speeds.

Sean,
I have the Bosch blades and they work well. I have:

Driver's side 24" (must remove plastic tab on wiper arm or it will not wipe cleanly).

Passenger side 22" (some say 21", as the outer tip of the 22" dooes not touch over 100% of the wipe)

Rear 18"

Regards Colin.

IF you use Rainex on your windshield or fluid, use Rainex wipers - Rainex on my GMC van caused my non-Rainex wipers to disintegrate

John,
The Bosch wiper blades have an aerofoil built into each blade. Wing no longer required.
