Does any one knoes a way to restore pixels on onboard computer, i saw some ppl sellin manuals on how to fix them on ebay..any suggestions b4 i go on and buy those manuals from ebay

Dealer replaced mine free. they said it was a safety issue. They offered to replace. i have an 03 X5.

I was shocked when they told me they will replace it. THe car is a CPO and they only charged $50 for deductable. They also replaced the front left axle. One of the best experience I've had at the dealer.

the US have taken the view that the faulty pixels on the dash are a free recall item, the UK however say its cosmetic only and charge £450 ($900) to replace.
