Question What is this?

Is the on the far right of the changer mini-coax? What is the empty slot on the far left for?

and this?

Also, what is this empty plug for?

Sorry for the pics and questions. I went in search of the changer-amp connector and found these other two also.

The other connect in the picture is where the CD changer cable goes on non DSP cars.

The second pic looks like the connector for the voice recognition module.

So where is the module itself? We do not have VR. What is the empty slot on the changer?

That is the connector for the VR module, and it has a looping/termination plug on the end of it that would be taken off and a module connected if you were to install one. You don't have the module at this time, which is why you don't have VR.

The empty slot on the changer is for non-DSP vehicles and is the 6-pin connector that provides the audio path to the radio module. Since you have the digital DSP system in your vehicle, the coax connection provides the digital audio path to the amp.
