what nav scale/on board computer settings do you use?

Just out of curiosity, I was wondering what settings most of you guys use on your nav systems? what scale/map view/split screen/full/etc do you guys like and why?

I can't decide whether I like full or split screen, and whether I like it at 400 feet or further out so I figured i'd make this unofficial poll of what the various settings everyone likes and why to help decide!

I use split screeen and 125 yds locally and 250 yds highway (I did the upgrade, downgrade, upgrade thing to avoid the "accept" screen).

I typically drive with it on 2.5 miles or 5 miles - always in split-screen mode

I use split screen, because I like the visual command as well as the voice, as for scale I tend to use 250yds but I like the quick change to see what route it is giving me and see if I need to change the route selection option.

450@ perspective here if its just for viewing. Otherwise, 250, split and normal view with visible street names.
