mine just blew tues morn , luckily it happenned just as i pulled in the garage !! i called my sa at bmw they told me it would'nt be covered under cpo and it would cost $324.95 all in !!
i just went there picked up the part $54.00 and 2 bottles of antifreeze $30.00 then went to local shop and had them do it for $100 flush / fill the system it took about 2 hrs !!

super easy to replace and yes, dont need the dealer and you can do it yourself.

Yeah; I feel stupid because i did not ralize how easy it really was to replace. The wortst part was finding the part because i live abot 200+ miles away from any dealer and none of the parts retailers had the damn hose. I had to have them shipped UPS from California. I guess Im just to used to american cars where you just get a hose and clamp it on as to where the bimmer has the cool quick release deals built in (excellent design by the way) to the hose.All in all it cost me 125 smackers for both upper and lower rad hoses and 15 for GL5 antifreeze and some elbow grease is all.
