Check out my 4.6is exhaust tips

Finally got the 4.6is tips installed on my 4.4. I was contemplating installing the complete exhaust at first, but for the price I might as well install the Dinan free flow exhaust at a later date.

The 4.4 exhausts had to come off completely to cut off the tips and weld on the new oval tips. You can see the pipes cut on the inside but it should blacken with exhaust dust within a few days.

These pics don't do it any justice (taken with my phone) but it looks cool. Now I have the phat look with the 4.6is body kit and the staggered 20" wheels with the oval tips!

If you want you can also spray inside the tips with hitemp paint. I went to Lowes and picked up a can and sprayed. The paint will also help inhibit rust on cut areas.
