LASER CAR WASH KILLED MY X!!!!!!!

so in the summer i work construction during the day, today i took the x to a site and had to drive through mud and all and decided after work that i needed a wash but didnt have time for a hand wash. i went to this laser car wash by my house first off it didnt clean my wheels like it said. secondly some of my trim is loose from that nut ass drying system! and my trim was all discolored which meant i had to come home and use back to black for like an hour! F CAR WASHES back to handwashing! but next i think she deserves a expensive detail.

As I've mentioned on other threads, my 01' has been through industrial strength car washes hundreds of times and the paint and trim looks new. To your points, the trim must have been improperly attached in the first place, and water and soap should not discolor anything. Sorry for your bad experience, but I just rarely have time to wash and clean my car like a commercial car wash can in a few minutes for $12.

Pski sorry to hear that. I never really have time to wash my X either and if I do have time I would hang with my kids and do something enjoyable. I used to detail cars in college and I rarely clean my own rides now a days.

Don't EVER take your car to a car wash for almost the same money to it to a hand wash facility where for $20 or $25 they will hand wash your ride and do the trim...I know 3 in our area:

(1) Dr. Detail http://www.docdetail.com/

(2) Auto Appearance http://www.philadelphia.com/auto-appearance-b14248231

(3) Another place which I do not know the name of but I heard its around 7th and Spring Garden Street...it looks like a regular electronic car wash but instead of machines washing your ride there are like 10 guys standing there with mits or rags that wash it as it moves down the line.

I never wash my car. Car wash only. That's the reason why I chose to buy beige metallic. My wifes car is a black IS350, so that's the one I hand wash. Two cars would be suicide! I think the soft cloth car wash I went to first did put some small scratches on my plastic fender, so I just went to another one. Good luck!
