Cupholder clips fixed!

I know its practically trivial, but I just couldn't bear looking at the 2 broken clips so I took the X to the dealer.

Instead of replacing the clips they replaced the whole cupholder! Since its under warranty I didn't complain.

Nice. To think that the whole center console had to come out for that. The cup holder tray screws in to the console from underneath.

Yes the SA said it was a 2 hr job... can't be done without taking out the centre console. I thought the clips were just snapped-in from the top. I suspect they had problems obtaining the clips... my initial appointment was rescheduled because the 'parts' did not come in. I'm guessing that's why they replaced the whole cupholder.

I was also pissed by the surprise thunderstorm in the morning. Muddied the X up pretty good. Nice of them to have washed and dried it by the time I picked it up.

This isn't the dealership I bought the X from (but its only 15 minutes from my place) so I guess they've convinced me to come back.
