BMW OEM Pads

Does anyone know what material the OEM BMW pads are made from? Ceramic or Semi Metalic?

Not sure of the formula. I do think they are a blend of Metallic, carbon and ceramic.

They are not ceramic, Carbon Kevlar based as I recall.

Organic, with carbon black mixed in, AFAIK. May have Kevlar mixed in, but the carbon black is the key ingredient, as that is what results in the characteristic black dust.
