7 series over X5?

so I was looking for X5 and saw great deal on 02 745i

this one has 100k miles but price is $15900

I saw other one with 80k miles for $16500

any comments on 7 series?
(you don't have to compare it with X5 because I don't want to create any arguments here )

You can't compare the two, it's like apples and oranges...pineapples for that matter. The 7 is a great car, just be careful what year. You don't want '02, lots of issues.

All in all, it's powerful, luxurious, and mean looking all in one. Great sedan.

he said bank will take the car away cuz he was underneath the loan
so I have to pay him and he has to remove lien before I bring it right?

If I change mind, I think I can still sell it for more in salt lake since there are not many choices like socal

E38 7 is good and newest model good.7 is much better than X to drive,more comfort especially in rear seats more mpg, more reliable,much better build quality,but if you need 4 wheel drive then you will have to buy X and put up with it, good luck, my kids complain a lot about X discomfort, say they want 7 again.
