Thank You

I stumbled across this site one day last month when i was searching for an ipod adapter solution. Id never heard of X5 World before. Since then ive been given great suggestions of things to do and equally important, things not to do.

My X looked ok before i started tinkering with her but ive noticed she turns heads now. Maybe its the fact that i was inspired to get most of the dings removed from her, or thanks to the akebono ceramic brake pads, the wheels stay clean longer than 15 miles after leaving the car wash, or that the growl of the engine post AFE installation is mesmerizing or perhaps its the predator look of the MYCARR angel eye upgrade. Who knows what it is but i sure do like it Thanks to all of those of you that have lent a hand to this newbie X5 enthusiast! This site is the best resource for help and information for the X5 period.

heres my girl if you care to see her...

if you stay clear of I-95 between exit 15 in NY and exit 2 in CT between 7:15am and 7:30am u will likely never see me.

I'm really not a big fan of the decorative front skid plate BUT I must admit it does look VERY GOOD on your jet black X.... compliments the lip spoiler too.

Nice mods, very tastefully done.

thanks! it may be decorative but it sure takes its share of road tar and gravel. before i installed it i had to replace the front grill due to cracks from gravel twice. havent had to replace it since i installed the skid plate. id like to think its adding a minimal amount of protection while looking pretty cool

Okay cool.. I was actually going to have my lower fron painted to match the color of my car and do the grills in titanium. I may try the skidplate in titanuim with the grilles first and see how it looks on black. IF the price ie right I may paintmatch the black anyway...
