OEM Chrome Rims
Now, here's my question: Does anyone here know of or have dealt with a reputable shop that can perform this task? I know I've seen some guys here with powdercoated OEM rims, but my pops wants chrome. [I've tried talking him out of it] I found a seller on eBay by the name of OEMrims, with 99.3% 1344 feedback, and says his company is called LA Wheel Factory. A quick googling found no such company actually exists. However all his auctions are oem rims that are chromed...do you think buying the rims from eBay are my best bet? |

Lakeshore Wheel and Tire has an OEM Chrome Rim exchange program that's probably worth checking out. Some of the guys here have purchased aftermarket rims from them with some success apparently.
http://www.lakeshorewheelandtire.com/ I would definitely recommend getting your OEM's chromed (or doing an OEM exchange) instead of purchasing aftermarket rims from unknown sources if you can avoid it. There is a LOT of aftermarket crap out there. Good luck! |
