FS: Full Set (5pieces) rubber floor mats
Mods I know this doesn't belong in this section, but due to my "newness" I guess I can't post it in the classifieds (?) I am a very reputable member on e46fanatics and have bought and sold almost every mod on my car through the classified sections there. Please move this where it belongs.
Here is the thread on e46, locals get first dibs as I would rather do the transaction in person. Then you can see the perfect quality and I know there won't be any payment problems! Thanks and once again mods sorry for having to post this intentionally in the wrong place. my username is "rkhettry23" on e46 http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=596744 edit: I just read the stickey on only premier members being able to post FS threads....I have to say, that rule is utterly retarted. e46 has many many more users and issues with flaky sellers seem to be few and far between. At least in my case. You must have a real good reason why you do this. I don't understand it. The whole reason I got hooked on car forums was because of the marketplace (e46 offered) where I knew only enthusiats would see my products. This forum has a long way to go still.... sorry mods for the rant but I think feedback like this goes a long way. Last edited by kennyisdead911; 08-02-2008 at 03:30 PM. |

You just proved my case and point. premiere price is a small price to pay for all the help and assistance that you get from the site. I think it's a good idea that in order for you to trade $ or earn $, a small token should be given to the site in order for it to operate. I don't know how much business the premiere membership brings in for xoutpost.com owners, but I'm sure they haven't quit their day jobs. Also, I feel more comfortable trusting someone (if an item were to be shipped) who just joined the site, and is selling something as a newbie, if he invested in his membership, chances are he isn't going to try to scam someone. We will never be sure how many scammers have left the site because they didn't want to invest in the membership before scamming forum members. But lets be clear, I am in no way trying to say that you are trying to run a scam. I think it's clear that you're not. You offer local pickup. Just a shame you compared this forum to e46, just because it's different doesn't make it wrong. I was actually considering buying the mats. :-)

^^I have to agree that the class issue is definitely better here, but its not because x5w makes their classifieds section for premiere members only. I think that is however, a direct correlation between the cost of a used e46 and a used X. In the past 6 months or so, e46 has been inundated with young teen "ricers". But have the number of scams gone up? It doesn't appear to be, but then again I can't speak for everyone... but in my experience which is over 30+ transactions, i've never had any problems buying/selling anything. I've always been paid in a timely manner for any items i've sold, and i've always been sent products that match their descriptions to a T. Maybe i'm a bit more thourough than most, but I think thats the name of the game when trying to deciper if a seller is legit or not. Not whether he/she is a paying member.
Having mods that "control" the selling environment would only make you less likely to go the extra mile to make sure the sellers/buyers are legit. Just assuming that the seller is legit cause he is a paying member doesn't work for me. Ever heard of the saying 'pay to play'.... Sorry but I do things on my own, I don't like them done for me. If a buyer seems sketchy, (recent join date, low post count, etc) I will ask more questions and keep records of all conversations. Sorry but thats just my 0.02. I don't post here that often, cause I find it to be rather boring in comparison. As a result I only have 24+ posts, but I still joined this forum over a year ago. I really think I should be able to post something in the classifieds. anyway i'm not trying to make a e46 vs. x5world thread, i'm just stating that I think x5worlds policies are a bit much and that there would be more activity on this board if casual users could post in the classifieds. and to be clear, this is no SCAM, so buy my mats! Come see them, I am only offering them to locals right now! and for the recond I am a "premium" paying member of e46 Last edited by kennyisdead911; 08-02-2008 at 10:24 PM. |

i respect your opinion, but so far paying premium works for us and no complaints and keeps the site running somehow. Too much activity doesnt really matter and a few activity with useful information is IMO is better and that makes this site classy than being ricey. Keep up your good reputation though! I am a believer of that have almost 1K posts in e46 and more than 10+ on itrader and provided DIY for them. I have more than 200 on ebay at 100% feedback.
