Thoughts and opinions wanted on two future mods?!

Ok...So my front passenger door 6.5" speaker blew!! LOL!

So...I'm pretty much going to do the bsw stage 1 upgrade......"screw it" might as well...along with the Dice Ipod int. $599.00 +149.00 is it worth it....or should I just replace my front door 6.5"'s and tweets!!

Also......as many of you know I did the skid plate....but i'm in the gym last night doin cardio and a 2002 4.6is rolls in...no mods.....but the 4.6 kit looks tough!! What do you guys think?? keep the skid and stick to the true look of a 3.0i....as that is what I have...or go for that 4.6/4.8 look.....I have always stuck to my guns and stayed true to what I have and have done what I think are tasty mods for a 3.0....

Looking for thoughts and opinions here!! ...........for once! LOL!

RR

I vote to go for the 4.6/4.8is look. Also go big on the sound!

You will be happy, the stock is just ok. you can make it better.

Good luck

WOW! I was definitely thinking about that! keeping the skid plate in front and just dropping the rear a lil bit with the 4.6 rear spolier.....OK! I like that! I'm looking to weigh all opinions but I like that !

thanks for the input!

my 2cts

I have been bouncing back and forth between the full IS setup and the skid plate... I think that by keeping your skid plate and adding the rear spoiler it would add an original touch to your X, with that said the full IS spoiler front and rear looks super mean, but I really like the color matched skid as well, so by keeping your skid plate, and adding the rear spoiler I think it would pull the rear of your X together nicely and give you something attractive and not seen every day... mixing the best of both worlds....

I think he said it best. Mine is in the shop getting the 4.6 kit done.. :-D

What is the look of a "true 3.0" ? anyway? LOL. If you wanted the true 3.0 you wouldn't have put 22" rims on it.. and look how nice they look!!!!

if you are going rear 4.6 go to morristown NJ they have a good price.. it will be around $375 i think.

GO HARD OR GO HOME!!! IT'S MOD SEASON!!!

(football season is starting soon so all mods will stop since my sundays will be taken up)

I'm doing my bsw set up first.....this may not happen til next spring!?!?

I can't wait either!!!

The BSW upgrade sounds good! I actually just bought an alpine BMW x5 amp for $30 off ebay and have no idea what to do with it... :-S

I like the idea of the skid plate and rear spoiler.. very unique.. will look amazing with those wheels.
