Whistle Engine Whine through Speakers

I've read the FAQ's and have seen so many people having the same problem as myself with the engine/alternator whine through my stereo speakers. My AM is actually working okay but it's my CD changer coupled with my iPod that emits the static and whine. It's extremely bad. Has anyone come up with any solutions???

If you AM is working fine but your changer is not, odds are there is a power line running too close to the changer signal line running back up to the receiver, or there is a bad or insufficient ground on the changer, or the ipod integration unit.

Check all of your grounds first and then see if your changer or ipod signal lines are close to a power cable.
