likely either a fuse or a loose wire. Trace all wires and double check all connections and I bet you will find the source of the problem. Do you have a multi-meter to assist with basic electrical troubleshooting?

I don't, thats why i returned my new eMirror module. I'll get one, this is really important to me now lol. thanks. its pooring here in northeast so hopefully sat / sun I can check that out. I guess i'll just go to Pep Boys see if i can pick one up.

check the relay that came with the AE kit, mine melted and i replaced it (got it from jlevi)

Most likely fuse or relay, I'm assuming you've checked the battery connection. Is the remote key connected? if so, they should light up if when you unlock and shut off when engine is on if it's the relay or fuse
