hey guys, i have an issue with my passenger door, i can lock it remote, but when i try to unlock it only the driver side door unlocks (yes i am pressing twice), and i tried to unlock it with key in the lock manually and also only the driver side door unlocks, but i can lock both...

is there a fix for it? it will not unlock with the mid-console button either, i have to pull the door handle from the inside then it pops up. but locking it is no problem.

Weasel will become famous soon enough
If all 3 doors and rear hatch unlock, but just the passengers front door doesn't unlock... it sounds like the problem is the door latch itself. The locking/unlocking actuator is built into the latch unfortunately, but that isn't an uncommon problem among all BMW's. If you have basic mechanical ability you can change it yourself. It is not much harder than changing the window regulator, and mirrors most of the labor from it.
