strange radio issue

hi all, I'm experiencing a weird radio problem at the moment. When I was driving the cd and the radio were intermittently freezing so I turned it off, the light on the nav screen went off but the sound continued to play. Got to my destination then turned off the car and the cd was still playing with the key out of the ignition, I ejected the magazine and it stopped but the radio is still on-ish. Any suggestions?

i think its a bad CD that made the unit freez
almost the same behavior happened today with my friend's Navi when i put a copy map DVD

The thing is I haven't changed the CDs in over a month and now the DSP setting has disappeared from the home screen on the nav system

just wanted to give an update, the radio system was completely replaced and it works just fine now.
