Buying pre-owned wheels question.
The local classifieds had a post for a set of 20" 87s with staggered Diamaris for only $1000. Seller claims they are $4000+ NEW. The items sold within days. In case a similar opportunity presents itself, how does one tell if the rims are original BMW of if they are replicas? The above price looked like a really good deal for originals not so for reps. What markings if any do I look at to avoid getting ripped off? |

Thanks..
So after reading that I need to look for "BMW" and a 7 digit number in the front if the rims are OEM. "BWM" means its a rep. |

you can also visit realoem.com and look at the styles that were for these vehicles. if you cannot find a matching style I would be hesitant...
